Kaizer Chiefs have continued to fall behind in the Africa club rankings, with Sekhukhune United joining Stellenbosch FC far ahead of Nasreddine Nabi's men.
In spite of reaching the Nedbank Cup final, Chiefs have been limping in the Betway Premiership, the ultimate measure of the quality of any team.

Nabi's troops have remained stuck in eighth spot on the standings and could fall off to the bottom half if ninth-placed Chippa and 10th-positioned Golden Arrows win at least one of their games in hand.
The Chilli Boys have two games in hand, while Arrows have three games in hand.
With rivals Mamelodi Sundowns currently ranked second and Orlando Pirates ninth in Africa by FootballDatabase.com, Amakhosi still have a lot of work ahead of them to catch up on the lost ground on ratings on the continent.
They had a chance to get back at least in the top 100 charts on the continent but had to settle for 106th spot.
In South Africa, they are rated eighth-best team, behind Stellenbosch, Sekhukhune United and TS Galaxy, who have been doing well domestically and also on the continent with regards to Stellies, who are in the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Sekhukhune, who have increased their chances of returning to the Confed Cup, currently lying third in the Premiership, are ranked 76th in Africa and fifth in the country after back-to-back wins over Polokwane City and Cape Town City.
They, however, are just 20 points ahead of Chiefs in the rankings but trail Stellenbosch, who are placed 44th on the continent and fourth in Mzansi with 40 points.

Steve Barker's charges, 60 points ahead Amakhosi in the Africa club rankings, will be bidding to overturn a 1-0 defeat from the semi-final first leg, when they host Simba in the return fixture at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday.
