The creators took into consideration the top speed of Messi (32.50 km/h) and used that, along with some other figures, to calculate his estimated 100m time.
They then did the exact same for Ronaldo who, according to their research, has a whopping top speed of 35 km/h and estimated that he would complete a 100m race in 11.15 seconds.
While their dawn may be nearing its end, both individuals are still playing their trade in the professional game, with the Argentine representing Major League Soccer outfit Inter Miami and the Portuguese playing for Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
Messi recently created history at his club, becoming the fastest player to have ever reached 15 goals and 15 assists in the MLS, doing so in just 19 games.
This came after the former FC Barcelona scored a brace and contributed an assist in his first league game since June to help his side beat Philadelphia Union by three goals to one.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, reached the incredible achievement of 900 career goals when he found the back of the net against Croatia during a UEFA Nations League clash.
