Lang, known for his skill and flair on the pitch, has never shied away from showcasing his personality through tattoos. Many would agree that the image of Mandela, inked on his leg, symbolises resilience, freedom, and unity—values that Mandela embodied throughout his life.

The 24-year-old winger has a deep appreciation for Mandela's impact on the world, particularly in the fight against racial injustice and the promotion of equality. While he has not spoken extensively about the tattoo, it is clear that he holds Mandela's legacy in high regard.

Lang's tribute reflects how Mandela's influence extends far beyond politics and South Africa, inspiring people globally, including athletes. The tattoo serves as a reminder of Mandela's message of perseverance and hope—qualities that can be applied both on and off the football field.

With this meaningful artwork, Lang not only honours Mandela's memory but also carries a piece of history with him every time he steps onto the pitch.
