Da Gama sat in the stands when Magesi hosted Orlando Pirates at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday. It remains to be seen if the Limpopo-based side will retain Zothwane and Jackie Ledwaba as part of the technical team under 'ODG' in the new regime.
Zothwane sounded cagey when asked about Da Gama's presence in the stands during Sunday's match against Pirates in Polokwane.
"I can't comment on that one because the management said they are talking to the coach. Obviously, they have to tell us if the coach is coming and whichever coach that is coming we will definitely work with him," Zothwane told the media after the match against the Buccaneers on Sunday.
"I am here to serve Magesi football club and as an employee of the team. If they feel that Jackie and I have to continue, we will do so. If they feel again there is a need for a change of personnel, we will gladly support that because it's about the team and not individuals," he added.
Magesi's next Premiership match is against TS Galaxy away from home on January 4.
