Another blast, Rulani responds to Ramovic

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena says coach TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic is seeking nothing but attention.

The relationship between Mokwena and Ramovic has gotten heated after a series of spats between the two coaches which played out in the media.

Ramovic disclosed explicit words allegedly shared between the two coaches in a telephonic conversation, with the Galaxy mentor revealing the content of his conversation with the Brazilians coach during the Nedbank Cup press conference held in Johannesburg last week.

The relationship between the two coaches broke down last year after Galaxy beat the Brazilians during the Carling Knockout match in Nelspruit.

The war of words started after Mokwena attributed their loss to the absence of seven players including Themba Zwane, Khuliso Mudau, and Ronwen Williams due to the national team assignment, something Ramovic described as a lame excuse from his counterpart.

Sundowns and Galaxy are set to meet in the DStv premiership in Nelspruit next weekend and what has been described as a movie, may continue at the Mbombela stadium on Wednesday.

Mokwena took another dig at Ramovic in the press conference held after the league clash against AmaZulu.

"All the crying is for, I don't know. Why you guys can't hear the underlined message? You need to give him attention, give him praise, he wants attention, so give it to him," Mokwena said to the media at the Loftus Versfeld stadium on Tuesday.

"The guy is pleading and saying, 'I have won five games in a row and no one is talking'. Put him on the headlines, and why don't you do it guys? He has won five games, he has told you guys. He has eight assists from his left back, he told you guys.

"Just give him what he wants because if you don't give him what he wants he goes and seeks for it and he then comes for people like myself.

"Ok no problem, but give him guys, give him the headline, he wants attention. You see what is doing is crying out for attention, so give him a little bit, spend more time with him, and link him to clubs," he added.
