NFD high-flyers JDR Stars admit it will be very difficult to keep hold of their star forward dubbed the "next Percy Tau" as the big PSL clubs come circling.
Both Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates are believed to be interested in Moeketsi Makhanya, who was named ABC Motsepe League playoffs player of the tournament in June.

JDR club owner and coach Nditsheni Nemasisi is credited with discovering the 23-year-old.
"Makhanya, he [Nemasisi] took him from nowhere but now people can see that he is a gem," marketing and communications manager Livhuwani Madzhuhe tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"He can be our next Percy Tau in Bafana Bafana the way he plays. He is scoring. That boy can score. Even last year he scored more than 24 goals in the ABC Motsepe League, and now I think he's already got five.

"He is a goal-poacher. He is young and left-footed. He is like Percy Tau the way he runs or the way he dribbles."
"We need that boy, we never received any formal thing [offer]. You know agents they always do something like that to sell their players. But from our side we didn't receive any offers. We've got a long contract with the boy.

"That's our boy. The boy will leave when the time arrives, but for now, for this season, he is not going to leave our team. We need all our players to make sure our team remains in the NFD. But we have not received anything."
JDR Stars are second on the GladAfrica Championship log, five points behind leaders Uthongathi FC with 17 points after 10 matches.
