Former Manning Rangers goalkeeper Grant Johnson snubs former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder David Modise in his selection of the best 11 players he played with at The Mighty Maulers.
Johnson was part of the fabled Rangers squad that won the inaugural Castle Premiership title in 1996/97 under legendary coach Gordon Igesund.

The squad that shocked South African football's mightiest clubs back then also featured the likes of Clinton Larsen, Innocent Chikoya and Simon Makhubela, who later went on to join Orlando Pirates.
Johnson, who was Rangers' dependable No.1 at the back, has selected his best starting line-up from that era, leaving both Modise and one of deadliest ever PSL strikers Gilbert Mushangazikhe on the bench.
