"We were looking for a good performance for the three points in the end because it's a little bit absurd to entertain and make people happy, we get three points anyway, we don't get more. But so happy with the performance in general," Riveiro told SuperSport VT.
"Difficult moment in the first-half to control them in the transitions but I think we did a really (good) beginning of the second-half and the game over after 15 minutes."
The Spanish coach explained what happened to the players from the break after going to the half-time interval 1-1 with Gallants.
"We tried to modify a couple of things at haltime, to refine some situations we observed, to try to capitalise more. Also the determination of players was different in the second-half," Riveiro said.
"There was a moment the stadium was a little bit doubting us, the atmosphere was not the best one, we have to trust these boys all the time, it does not matter the result, trust me they are looking to do the things in the right way.
"And the second-half they managed to switch off the noise and be themselves to put things in order and I think they did it in the exceptional way," the Spanish coach said.
