Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah has opened up about his injury and the heartbreak of missing out on the MTN8 final after starting the season strongly.
Ndah has had statically his best start to the season in Pirates' colours.
The Nigerian international started all nine of the side's matches across all competitions and captained the side in the absence of Innocent Maela and Tapelo Xoki.

However, tragedy struck in the last six minutes during a 3-0 win over Polokwane City at Orlando Stadium in September - Ndah suffered an injury and a tibia fracture.
The complexity of the injury and surgery required would rule him out for the remainder of the 2024 calendar year.
Bucs managed to progress to the final of the MTN8 and successfully defend their title in his absence.
Ndah's teammate and centre-back partner Thabiso Sesane dedicated his Man of the Match award after the 3-1 win against Stellenbosch FC to the former Akwa United star.
Speaking on the latest episode of Bucs Change Room, which is being flighted on SuperSport TV, the 26-year-old opened up candidly about the heartbreak of his injury.
"I was down, basically," Ndah said.
"I wouldn't say I was depressed. I also spoke to the national team and spoke to the coach, and he was surprised.
"He told me to get well soon and yes, this all happened in a short space, where I felt like everything was going well for me.
"I'm just looking forward to recovery now and playing."
