The incredible input from Deon Hotto through his time at Orlando Pirates has pushed the Namibian to a grandstanding as he maneuvers his way through untested waters.
Hotto’s game has always been pregnant with honesty in the way his commitment is accompanied by effort even from the time he played his football back home in Swakopmund, Namibia.

There has been no dilution to all that in the dozen years that he has played in the PSL at Golden Arrows, Bloemfontein Celtic, BidVest Wits and now Pirates despite not being a favourite of some coaches.
With The Bucs, Hotto has blossomed enough to dispel those that judge footballers based on age.
Hotto has played just about all his minutes at Pirates past in his 30s and yet has kept on getting better like fine wine as he nears his 35th birthday.
The 41 appearances that he has made this season have meant he has not been involved in only one game this season.
To understand the input he has made at Pirates, Hotto has been on the field in 207 out of 222 matches that the club has played since he joined.
That puts him at 93,24% presence and counting upwards.
An incredible mark not matched by any player attached to a top league South African club in the last five years.
Playing in any position where he is tasked be it left-back, left-wingback, left wing or any of those positions on the right flank or further up the pitch, Hotto has done the job.

Beyond defending when asked to do so he provides goals and assists as evidenced by the total of 12 that he has this season.
Jose Riveiro has not used Hotto in only eight games through his time as head coach.
