SuperSport United claimed a late 1-1 draw against Sekhukhune United to halt their four-game losing run in the Betway Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
Matsatsantsa made five changes from the Tshwane derby loss as Ricardo Goss, Pogiso Sanoka, Lebohang Maboe, Ghampani Lungu and Samir Nurkovic returned, while Babina Noko welcomed back Katlego Otladisa and Linda Mntambo after the loss to Orlando Pirates.
Congolese-born Chrisitan Saile squandered a big chance to give the visitors the lead on ten minutes when he nodded a surging cross to the far post across the face of goal.
Maboe came close ten minutes later with a first-time shot from the edge of the box after meeting a low pass, but Badra Ali Sangare dived down and parried him.
Sangare was put to work again around the half-hour mark when he rushed out of his area to deny Nurkovic profiting from a clear one-on-one.
Babina Noko made a substitution to liven up their overall shape a little later and had Tshepo Mokoane come on for Otladisa.
The home side's first shot in anger came minutes to halftime when Sipho Mbule charged towards the near post from the right of the area and drew a save from Goss.
Babina Noko seized control five minutes in the second half after an unmarked Relebogile Mokhuoane showed the presence of mind to head in Keletso Makgalwa's cross.
SuperSport continued to find chances as a through pass set Maboe in-behind and on goal, but Sangare charged and denied the loanee.
Matsatsantsa got a clearer route to levelling when Katlego Mohamme handled Maboe's cross to concede a penalty, but Lungu wasn't able to profit and denied by Sangare.
The missed opening nearly came back to haunt them as the host fashioned a second through a powerful point-blank effort by Chibuike Ohizu, but Goss was equal to the task.
SuperSport snatched a point in the dying minutes when Nurkovic pounced on a second ball in the area and acrobatically finished in the near corner.
The share of the spoils moved the host back to fourth-place ahead of Kaizer Chiefs and saw Matsatsantsa jumped back to 12th position.
