The crisis that has befallen Kaizer Chiefs with a nine-year trophy barren spell has given reason for former players to air their disgruntlement about the state of the club.
Every day presents another opportunity for yesteryear Chiefs players to voice their unhappiness of what has become of the club.

The criticism gets extreme on some occasions that the current crop of players is labelled as being not deserving to wear that jersey as was cited by ex-superstar Jabu Mahlangu.
Yet how is such severe criticism taken in the dressing room?
"With those statements going around in the media, everyone is entitled to have their own opinion," responds Given Msimango who is getting to grips with the demands at Chiefs in his first season.
Msimango has found himself sucked into the trophy drought that has been the root cause of all the issues at Naturena.
"They (former players) say this because they have done so well for the club, and we respect.
"As players, we have come into an understanding that when you play for such a massive institution you will come across a lot of criticism when things are not going well.
"This is understandable because you have to perform when you play for Kaizer Chiefs.
"You have to bring the results when you play for Kaizer Chiefs, so we understand where they are coming from, and we understand their disappointment from their words in the media.
"All we ask for is to maintain the hope and belief in the current crop of players because it is a new generation bringing new skills to this club.
"Unfortunately, right now it may not seem so because results are not forthcoming but when you look at our league performances, they speak for themselves.
"I feel as a team we have been doing well in keeping those clean sheets which is one big positive.

"We can then build on that and then fix every other area and continue improving as a team.
"We can only grow from such difficulties," says Msimango.
Chiefs play Golden Arrows on Tuesday evening (19h30) at FNB Stadium.
