Baroka are known to cause upsets against the big PSL teams and with The Brazilians currently on form, it would certainly be an upset should they get a result against the Tshwane giants.
The Limpopo outfit will be hosted by the league leaders at Loftus Stadium at 17h00 and Mphahlele believes it is just another game where three points are up for grabs.
"To me all games are important. We know Sundowns and they know us. We can beat them and they can also beat us. It's all about who needs it more on the day," he tells snl24.com/kickoff.
Bakgaga have had a decent season so far and are currently among the teams contending for a top-eight finish, and Mphahlele has expressed his satisfaction with the way they are performing.
"It's been a good season, I'm very happy with the progress and if we can get 18 or more points we can finish in a respectful position," he says.
Meanwhile, transfer activity was quiet for Bakgaga during the mid-season transfer window and the club boss says the ABC Motsepe League being closed really affected them as they rely on the lower tiers to find unknown gems.
"The pandemic really hit us you know, we usually get players from the GladAfrica Championship. And with amateur football not competing, it made things more difficult for us," he explains.
"Remember, GladAfrica Championship teams also get players from the ABC Motsepe League, then we sign players from both leagues. It was always going to be hard for us to make any new signings but I'm happy with the squad we have."
