In the latest edition of My Dream Team, former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns player Derrick Spencer picks the best eleven players he featured alongside in his decorated football career.
What's your formation of choice?
"Four-Four-Two.
"I'm trying to accommodate my players, most of them are comfortable in this formation."

Goalkeeper...
"Itumeleng Khune. He's done well. And when I got to Chiefs, he was still a young boy. I was there when he began his career."

Defenders...
"Right-Back will be Cyril Nzama. A good person and a good leader. As a youngster at Chiefs, I would always speak to him. He was closer to us than anyone else. And he was a good player, a hardworking player.
"Left-Back is Innocent Mdledle. I didn't play long with him, but I could see his qualities. He was a hard tackler and good going forward also. He read the game well.
"Centre-Backs it's me and OJ [Mbulelo Mabizela]. I put myself in because I know myself and I trust myself.
"And then OJ he is a quality player. He was one of the best centre-backs that we've ever had as a country. He reads the game well and he is very relaxed on the ball."

Midfield...
"On the right, I will put 'Shuffle' [Jabu Mahlangu], he was a problem. I don't think anyone can match Jabu's skill when it comes to wingers.
"On the left, I will put Asanda [Emmanuel Ngobese]. 'Black Jesus'. He was a good player. He was quality. A talented guy. He had a sweet left foot. People don't know Scara...Yesses when you see him at training, he was marvellous.
"Tinashe Nengomasha will be my holding midfielder. 'The General' was hardworking. He controls the midfield. That one he is a soldier.
"Alongside him, it will be John 'Shoes' Moshoeu. What a player. That guy had qualities on and off the field. And we all looked up to him. A top-top player."

Strikers...
"I will go with Surprise Moriri and Collins Mbesuma. With Surprise, I admired him as a player when I was still at Chiefs but got to see his real potential when I was at Sundowns. He had God-given talent. And Mbesuma was a goal poacher. He was a beast upfront."

Substitutes...
Goalkeeper
Brian Baloyi: I met Brian towards the end of his career.
Defender
Siboniso Gaxa: He was a hardworking player Siboniso. He could read the game well. He is good at going upfront and coming back. You can also play him as a centre-back.
Midfield...
"I will go with my brother 'Stiga' [Stanton Fredericks] he might kill me if I leave him out. He and Jabu were almost similar players.
Striker...
"I'd go with 'Killer' he was a good finisher. Katlego Mphela was deadly."
Coach...
"With the type of players I've selected, there can only be one coach, Ted Dumitru. That old man used to lie a lot [laughs]. When he didn't want to play you, he will tell you 'I see you are limping. Are you injured?' [laughs] Once he says that then you must know you are not going to make the match-day squad.
"He once fought with Nhlanhla Kubheka over that. He asked Nhlanhla 'Are you injured?' Nhlanhla almost came to tears trying to explain he was not injured, 'No I'm not injured' [laughs]. He was a top coach."
