Myeni signed a one-year contract with VTM after turning down an offer from an unnamed Lesotho team.
The former Bidvest Wits midfielder began training with VTM on Thursday morning after arriving in Gaborone the previous day.
VTM boss Vincent Mafuta has been beaming with excitement since Myeni's arrival.
"We are very excited about the arrival of Sfiso in our team," Mafuta said.
"We are a relatively new team. Sfiso played in the CAF Champions League so brings a wealth of experience to our team.
"Especially to the youngsters who are going to learn a lot from him.
"Sfiso is a very disciplined person. We have been tracking him for some time.
"He had other offers in Lesotho from other teams but chose to play for us.
"It's not only my team that will benefit from his experience, but his presence will also add value to football in Botswana.
Myeni has been joined by former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Tshepo Gumede who is currently undergoing an assessment with the club.
