Gabuza, who last played competitively in September, has only made one start in the League and two substitute appearances in the MTN8 since signing for Pirates from Golden Arrows in the offseason.
“I am happy that he made the team,” Lekgwathi told his club's official website. “I know him from Golden Arrows and I know how difficult it is to play against him.
“Whenever we played against him, he gave us problems at the back. He was at some point called to the national team, so, I am happy that his hard work here has earned him a place in the team.
“Now he will have to fight harder. I spoke to him this afternoon and he is very happy to be in the team.”
