The start of the Bolivian Primera Division has offered two ex-PSL players an opportunity for fresh breath after they both got minutes over the weekend.
Erwin Saavedra is back at Club Bolivar for his fourth stint after finally cutting ties with Mamelodi Sundowns at the beginning of February.

Saavedra had both rough and tough at Sundowns in the three years that he was contracted after moving on a reported transfer of USD800 000 (approx. R14,7 million) in February 2022.
His time at Sundowns became a series of injury troubles limiting him to a mere 450 minutes of game time.
While minutes were an issue at Sundowns his return to Bolivar came with a start as the Bolivian champions won 3-1 against Real Oruro.
Saavedra has travelled to Paraguay for a CONMEBOL Libertadores Group G match against Cerro Porteno on Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, Colombian striker Efmamjjasond Gonzalez started also played his first match for his new club in the Bolivia Primera Division following his move from Real Santa Cruz to Club Always Ready.
Gonzalez flopped through the season (2023/24) he spent at Chiefs where he left without scoring.
Chiefs then chose not to activate the permanent transfer option on the initial loan deal for the big forward who then returned to Santa Cruz.

Unfortunate for him, Santa Cruz were then relegated forcing him to move on to Always Ready where he was a starter over the weekend in a 1-0 away win over Nacional Potosi.
Gonzalez lasted 82 minutes before being replaced.
