In this edition of Supporters Forum, die-hard Orlando Pirates supporter Oupa Mofokeng talks about the upcoming crucial CAF Champions League encounter.
Pirates face Pyramids FC away in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals on Friday, with the first leg at FNB Stadium having ended in a 0-0 draw last Saturday.

“The chances of Pirates winning the second star are 99%. I always tell people that this is Pirates’ year,” says a cheerful Mofokeng.
“If you look closely, we’ve won many games this season that we never thought we would. We have managed to win tough matches when our backs were against the wall.
“People will witness miracles against Pyramids because I predict we will play to a 1-1 draw. Pirates will score first, and Pyramids will equalize very late in the game. It will be too late by then.
“I foresee us going all the way to the final. Last week, I thought Pyramids were going to beat us, but the fact that the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) was able to notice all the mistakes showed that we were lucky to escape with a draw.
"If it weren’t for the VAR, the match officials would have allowed the two goals to stand, but the VAR ruled them offside.
“All of this proves that luck is on our side this season. My boys should shoot from distance to avoid their goals being ruled offside or called back for fouls. Without a doubt, we are going to the final.

“I spoke to Nkosinathi Sibisi just before their departure to Egypt to wish him good luck since we couldn’t make the trip. I believe it’s up to them if they want to reach the final.
“Our hearts are with them, and I have no doubt they will succeed.”
Kick-off at the 30 June Stadium is at 20:00 (SA time).
