SAFA CEO slams Jordaan

Former SAFA CEO Dennis Mumble took a huge swipe at current president Danny Jordaan and also dwelled on the relationship between the latter and PSL chairman Irvin Khoza.

The association made headlines following the untimely resignation of CEO Tebogo Motlanthe as he reportedly faced issues pertaining to cameras placed in his office.

Mumble, who enjoyed a few stints as CEO of the association, adamantly believes that Jordaan is not fit to guide South African football as President of the association.

"I do not want to sound bitter, but I did not come to do nothing in South African football. I still hold the view that Danny Jordaan is not the right person for SA football," Mumble said in an interview on Sports Night With Andile.

The alleged rift between Khoza and Jordaan have been noted by many in recent times, and the Eastern Cape-born would blame everything on the PSL boss according to Mumble.

Furthermore, Mumble stated that he doesn't wish to go back to the association and added how Jordaan interfered repeatedly in his job.

"I have never heard Irvin Khoza say anything bad about Danny Jordaan but any opportunity Danny Jordaan gets, he will paint Irvin Khoza black.

"Danny Jordaan will be walking in the street and stumble on a rock and blame it on Irvin Khoza. Danny constantly interfered in me doing my job. I'm the one that left SAFA, and I do not want to go back there," Mumble said.
