Ayanda Patosi pumped up for Lokeren cup match against Standard Liege

The 22-year-old player has had a year of ups and downs but in recent weeks it has been his electric form that has been hitting headlines.

Last month the midfielder scored one goal and got two assists in a 3-0 win over Waasland-Beveren. Since then he played in a 0-0 draw against Westerlo and 1-1 draw against Lierse after he was rested following a number of starts in recent weeks.

Tonight Lokeren take on Standard Liege away in the Last 16 of the Belgian Cup.

“I’m ready for tonight’s match and hopefully we will win,” the player tells snl24.com/kickoff.

“I’ve been doing a lot of hard work and extra training behind the scenes to recapture my form. You must remember that I suffered a knee injury and it took me some time to come back.

“Hopefully now I will remain injury-free and help my club do well in the League.”
