Former Kaizer Chiefs star George Lebese is set to begin the next chapter of his career after arriving at USL Championship club Colorado Springs Switchbacks.
Lebese put an end to speculation over his future, after he had been linked with a possible return to Chiefs earlier in the season, when he signed a contract with the Switchbacks in December.

The 30-year-old midfielder had parted ways with Mamelodi Sundowns in September after a forgettable two-year spell that also entailed a six-month loan with SuperSport United.
He then spent a couple of months in the wilderness as he pondered his next move, before being captured by the United States second-tier side, who are coached by South African duo Alan Koch and Kyle Timm.

The USL Championship campaign is set to kick-off in March and will run until November, before a decision will then be made on whether the ex-Glamour Boy will remain with his current club or move elsewhere.
Depending on his acclimatisation, Lebese could get his first run for the Switchbacks when they take on New Mexico United in a friendly match on February 8.
