CR Belouizdad striker Khanyisa Mayo has shared his thoughts on his performance against Orlando Pirates in Algeria on Tuesday evening.
Despite delivering a commendable effort in the North African club's 2-1 loss during the CAF Champions League group stages, Mayo expressed that he is not entirely satisfied with his contribution.
Mayo scored Belouizdad's only goal in an exciting Group C opener at Stade 5 de Juillet on Tuesday evening.

"Yes, I am happy, but it was not my 100% performance, as I'm lacking minutes," Mayo tells KickOff.
"I was motivated to play against a team from home, seeing familiar players and a well-known team really fired me up for the game. I told myself that no matter when I came on, I had to be ready to give my all and help my team secure maximum points, especially since we were playing at home. Unfortunately, things didn't go as we planned."
He added, "I need to build my confidence from the last game, focus on the positives, and continue improving my performance. I would estimate I was at around 60%. My fitness is 100%, but I need to fight for more playing time to reach the level of other players who have had more minutes on the field."
Mayo also mentioned that both his teammates and the coach expect him to maintain consistent performances rather than having just one standout game.

"Even the pirates players said that my introduction in the game was positive and it changed the whole dynamic of the game.
"It's a difficult group but in order to advance you have to win your games."
