With the reserve team leading the Eerste Divisie (Dutch second-tier), plenty of interest has arisen in the youngsters leading the charge and Traore has been one of several who has benefited.

The Burkina Faso international made his senior international bow at the tender age of 16, before spending two years in Cape Town where he developed further in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) squad.

But after turning 18, he joined their parent club and has since enjoyed steady progression with the Eredivisie giants.

Overall, the teenager has now scored 21 goals and registered 10 assists in 31 games in the Dutch second division, since his arrival in the Netherlands.
