Mzwakali, 26, has signed a one-year contract with IK Brage in the Swedish Superettan after impressing the club's technical team during their pre-season preparations.
After leaving Cape Umoya United at the end of last season, Mzwakali becomes the fifth South African player to make the switch to Sweden ahead of the 2020 campaign.
In his first foray towards European football, the technically gifted midfielder admits it's been a pleasant experience thus far, as he looks to grow outside his comfort zone.
"It's been good so far, I've enjoyed the experience, everyone has been so helpful and nice and the football is good," Mzwakali tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"I've signed for one season with them [Brage] and then after this deal, we'll see what happens."
Mzwakali amassed 106 appearances in the Absa Premiership after making his first-team debut for Ajax as a teenager in September 2013.
