With temperatures dropping into a minus average for almost half the year in the Russian city of Voronezh, Thabo Cele has transfer thoughts flooding his mind ahead of the next window.
Cele is doing duty for Fakel Voronezh in the Russian Premier League but will be on the move within the next two transfer windows.

The 27-year-old is into his second season with Fakel and has already improved on his appearance count ahead of the expiry of his contract in June.
This situation has triggered intentions of returning home, where he had a three-year deal tabled by Kaizer Chiefs after a solid showing at the 2023 COSAFA Cup, which hasn't led to full senior caps as yet.
The move to Chiefs didn't happen with Cele still under contract at Polish club Radomiak Radom, where he put in another solid midfield display of 20 games before the arrival of Romanian coach Constantin Galca spelt doom for him.
Fast-forward to the end of 2025, Cele has possibilities of returning home in his foresight.
He has played all senior his football in Europe having moved in 2016 after coming through the ranks of the KZN Academy, before moving to Portugal.
With all the clubs that he has been with in Europe not offering an avenue to the national team, this website has gathered that it makes sense to return where what he currently earns can be matched.

That move from the cold of Russia to sunny South Africa could happen in January, but that will come with Fakel agreeing to the transfer.
Alternatively, he will have to run out his contract in Russia and move on as a free agent.
