Bafana Bafana striker Lebo Mothiba is being linked with a move away RC Strasbourg after establishing himself as a key figure at the Ligue 1 outfit.
Mothiba, 23, emerged as one of the leading lights for Strasbourg as they lifted the Coupe de la Ligue and finished 11th in the French top-flight last season.

However, since returning to the club from the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, the robust striker has struggled to find the consistency that made him a crowd favourite at the Stade de la Meinau.
And now, according to News1, eight-time Saudi Arabia Pro League champions Al-Ittihad have enquired about his availability as a potential replacement for Serbia international Alexander Prijovic.

However, the report added the French club rebuffed their advances, with Mothiba said to be held in high regard by manager Thierry Laurey.
It's also been noted that fellow striker Nuno Da Costa is closing in on a move to Premier League chasing outfit Nottingham Forest - which is likely to end any possibility of Mothiba leaving in the current window.
The 14-time capped South Africa international has scored 14 goals and registered six assists in 55 appearances for RCS since his €4 million (R64m) switch from Lille in August 2018.
