WATCH | Percy Tau sets up meeting with Real Madrid after starring for Al Ahly

Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau set up a meeting with Spanish giants Real Madrid after a scintillating display for Al Ahly in a win over Seattle Sounders in the FIFA Club World Cup.

The 28-year-old attacker is only three matches into his return from a lengthy injury but was at the top of his game when Al Alhy beat Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Seattle Sounders on Saturday.

Tau was instrumental in the build up to a goal eventually volleyed in the back of the net by Mohamed Magdy, with just two minutes to play.

The next stop for Tau and Al Ahly is a titanic semi-final clash against Spanish giants and EUEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid in the the semi finals of the competitions. The clash will be played on Wednesday.

Tau was on the scoresheet for Al Ahly when his side defeated Auckland City 3-0 in the first round, some relief for a player who has missed nine games this season due to injuries.

The attacker's rise in form will also be a boost for Bafana Bafana head Hugo Broos who is eyeing the striker for a Bafana's crucial clash Afcon qualifier clash against  Liberia in March.
