Durban City chairman Farook Kadodia has ruled out the possibility of his team returning to Pietermaritzburg.
Kadodia was forced to move his team out of Pietermaritzburg and rename it from Maritzburg United to Durban City after falling out with Msunduzi Municipality.
The club was later barred from using Harry Gwala Stadium by the local municipality following their relegation to the Motsepe Foundation Championship, and the venue was handed over to Royal AM.

Durban City later relocated to Durban and are currently using Chatsworth Stadium as their home venue in the second tier.
The side sit at the summit of the standings and gunning down for promotion to the topflight next season.
Kadodia is seemingly not prepared to return to Pietermaritzburg even if his team wins promotion.
"No no, no (we're not going back to Pietermaritzburg)," a resolute Kadodia told journalists after his team edged out TS Galaxy in the Nedbank Cup Last 16 in Durban.
"When we came to Durban, we made it clear to all the stakeholders. We gave Msunduzi (Municipality) a chance. We spoke to them and we told them once we're re-branding, then it is goodbye to Maritzburg.
"I think the damage was done by all the relevant people from Msunduzi and whoever else it was. Because at the end of the day, the reality is we were pushed out of Maritzburg for 20 years there, we got kicked out of Maritzburg literally.
"So, I think it will be a shame for us to run back and ask for help. I think Durban has responded very well. We need to grow this brand," he maintained.
Durban City travel to Limpopo to face Baroka FC in their next Motsepe Foundation Championship.

We still have twelve games to go it's a long road. We know it's a tough struggle, but we want the people of KZN to believe in us, it is very important, it's a bit challenging, last season we played at Sugar Ray Stadium and there was no support.
"We came here this time, and we struggling to get support from stakeholders, now with this crowd tonight I want to appeal to all stakeholders to turn an eye on Durban City and give us hold", added Kadodia.
