'Chiefs fans have no joy' - Nabi after 10th league loss

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has reflected on his side's 10th defeat in the Betway Premiership this campaign.

In addition, the Tunisian dwelled on their inability to make their dominance during a certain spell of a match count and believes their controlled the first half.

Also, the injury of Thabo Cele was also a factor and badly affected the way the team wanted to set-up between defence and attack.

"I think we controlled the game in the first half and we could've scored because we were in a very good moment, but we didn't," Nabi told SABC Sport.

"The injury of Thabo Cele in the first going into second half disorganised a little bit in terms of liaison between the defence and attacking team. We felt that we didn't start well the second half and with the changes we made we felt we coming better in the game," he added.

Captain Yusuf Maart could've given the Amakhosi the perfect start from the spot, but hit the upright but atoned later on after Arrows had gone ahead.

Zimbabwean Knox Mutizwa got the winner, as Nabi states giving away the second goal made it difficult for them to come back and saddened by the loss.

"At that moment, we think we're coming back to controlling the game. You concede a goal from nowhere and after that it's difficult to come back from there," Nabi said.

"We felt we should've scored in the first half when we were in the better moments and those moments when were in a positive environment when you don't score it cost us and that's injuries and absence we have it's costing us a lot.

"It's a very tough loss today, hard to accept because we need to give the fans and put the club in a difficult position…the fans they don't have joy and it's very difficult," he continued.
