The importance of Mamelodi Sundowns' CAF Champions League quarterfinal against Esperance will need no lights on bright for Miguel Cardoso to take notice.
This is the competition that Cardoso was employed to win and as the first leg gets underway on Tuesday (15:00) at Loftus, he will know so.
Sundowns will allow fans to go in for free on a first-come, first-served basis as they seek to have numbers in the stands.

"It is a pleasure to participate in this round of the Champions League again," says Cardoso, speaking at Chloorkop before Monday morning's training session.
"Obviously, we know the importance and level of games we have ahead as any team we could have faced would have been tough to play against.
"But the ambition and will is very high.
"We have been waiting for this moment since the beginning of the season, so this is the moment when we need to concentrate on all the details that a match like this should have.
"I don't expect anything more than two equal matches being played.
"Just to finish on preparation, players and coaches, we deal with context and the only thing that happened is that we didn't profit from having more time to prepare for a match like this," says Cardoso.
"Regarding recovery, everyone has recovered, and everyone will be able to play.
"We have had enough time to recover, but we just didn't have enough time to prepare for the match, which is completely different approaches.
"It is basically only today that we have all the group here to prepare for the match.
"Yesterday and the day before, we prepared for the match with the players that were available.
"As you might imagine, the players that played 120 minutes joined the group today.
"But that doesn't take away much from the level we will put on the pitch because we have been working with the team for many months and at the moment we just need to get into details of the tactical approach and strategic side of the game.
"We have had meetings on analysis of Esperance and the level of understanding that the players have from the past, the job is managing fatigue.

"Managing fatigue is training less and invest more on recovery.
"That is what we need and the team will for sure be ready for a good and intense game for tomorrow and the challenges that we have ahead.
"Our focus is always on putting ourselves in the best position in each competition , but tomorrow will be tough for sure," says Cardoso.
