Prior to the side winning their first-ever Carling Black Label Cup this weekend, the Mamelodi Sundowns players had yet another glorious occasion to celebrate and they did so in quite some style. Here's a look.
The story
Last week, Masandawana star Themba Zwane celebrated a decade with his outfitter PUMA. The event saw many of his teammates come out to support him in a wonderful evening affair, where many of them got to show their sense of style.
It is thought the majority of the squad was there to witness Mshishi's big moment and some may have even outshined him in terms of fashion. Perhaps, unsurprisingly, Downs legend and ambassador Teko Modise was among the best-dressed at the ceremony, rocking a vibrant golfer jersey from PUMA's newest collaboration with Perks and Mini (P.A.M).
The stylish long sleeve knitted polo shirt costs a sizeable R2 500, according to PUMA South Africa's official online store. It has become expected of Modise to steal the show when it comes to dressing up, however, the like of Thapelo Morena and Denis Onyango did also manage to rock some striking PUMA items, as they are also endorsed by the German sportswear apparel manufacturer.
