Inter Milan unveil their new 2021/22 home kit

Serie A champions Inter Milan have unveiled their new home kit for the 2021/22 season.

According to the Inter's website, the new jersey celebrates the club's new identity, as it has the new badge and a commemorative patch that symbolizes their 19th league title, which they won last season.

Internazionale have also given their club partner Lenovo a noteworthy boost in visibility by allowing the brand to appear on the back of the matchday shirt after it had only been on the training kit since 2019.

What makes it special – slick design

According to the club, the polyester jersey is constructed with at least 95% recycled plastic bottles, and features a snakeskin design as a nod to the Biscione, which is the historical symbol of both the club and the city of Milan.

This plays an important role in the hero video that was posted on Inter's website as well as social media channels.

The video demonstrates the cultural connection between Inter and the city of Milan, and this is represented by the Biscione visiting various symbolic places in the city that mean so much to the Nerazzurri fans.

Did you know?

Inter have retired two of their jersey numbers - 3 and 4 - to honor two of their greatest footballers: Giacinto Facchetti in 2006 and Javier Zanetti in 2014.

Your thoughts, please?

In your opinion, how does this jersey compare to previous home kits? Do you miss the iconic stripes?
