Musa Kamara speaks out again after Kaizer Chiefs debacle

Chiefs remain in the hunt for a number nine and as already outlined by Arthur Zwane it must be a striker with physical attributes of holding up play.

Amakhosi offloaded both Samir Nurkovic and Leonardo Castro – two players who could fit into that role.

"If I can still get the opportunity to come and play in South Africa then I will come. No doubt about that," Kamara tells KickOff.

The 21-year-old walked out of the Lone Stars' camp two weeks ago in anticipation of travelling to South Africa but didn't after Chiefs cancelled his ticket.

He claimed Chiefs were fed negative information about him by some 'people' at Bo Rangers and the Sierra Leone Football Association and in protest didn't play in the two legs of the 2022 CHAN qualifier against Cape Verde.

"I now have my passport with me so if I get to have the opportunity then I will come.

"I haven't spoken top Bo Rangers about anything because I don't have a contract with them, and they know it.

"I will not play for that club anymore which is why I'm not even with that club as I speak to you right now.

"My wish is that I don't get to play in Sierra Leone anymore and my agent (who is based in the USA) who was doing the deal with Kaizer Chiefs knows about that," says Kamara.

The big forward further maintains that his contractual situation with Bo Rangers remains unchanged.

The Sierra Leone champions have contradicted Kamara by insisting that he remains contracted to them.

"Like I have already told you before I'm not contracted to Bo Rangers.

"They just don't want me to move so that is why they are saying all these things.

"If they are saying I have a contract with them then let them produce that contract that I have with them.

"I don't have a contract with them," maintains Kamara.
