PSL returnees Highlands Park join race with Free State Stars for Bloemfontein Celtic's Deon Hotto

The Namibia international's contract with Bloemfontein Celtic expires at the end of this month and he has caught the attention of Nedbank Cup champions Free State Stars, though Highlands are in the picture too.

Ea Lla Koto general manager Rantsi Mokoena recently told snl24.com/kickoff that they can't locate the 27-year-old after opening talks, but his manager Machini Motloung says Stars know where to find him if they are interested in the former Golden Arrows man.

"They haven't approached him or myself," Motloung tells this website.

"If they come we will listen. I have excellent relations with Free State Stars. Remember I come from QwaQwa, grew up with the Mokoena boys ... I like them.

"Not sure of the source of the allegation ... they have my numbers, why not call me? Anyway he hasn't told me about that other than what I saw on your website.

"Highlands Park have made enquiries and seems to be very interested, but we are reviewing all the offers."

Hotto, who can also play at full-back, played 35 matches in all competitions for Celtic in the 2017/2018 season, scoring one goal and providing nine assists.

He featured in his country's 4-1 loss to Bafana Bafana in the plate section of the COSAFA Cup in Polokwane on Tuesday.
