In January the player's representative Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi told this website that they were still waiting for the Betlehem-based side to offer his client a new contract.
The 31-year-old's contract was set to expire in June this year, but according to a source close to the player, everything was finally sorted out last week.
"Sifiso Mbhele has signed," the source tells snl24.com/kickoff. "He signed for another three years. It happened last week."
Mbhele has featured 14 times for Ea Lla Koto this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
The player's agent Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi and Stars general manager Rantsi Mokoena could not be reached for comment.
