CAF has now officially announced the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations best XI, including two Bafana Bafana stars!
South Africa pair Ronwen Williams and Teboho Mokoena have been named in the AFCON Team of the Tournament following their sensational display at the tournament.

The Bafana captain also won the Goalkeeper of the Tournament award, while Mokoena chipped in with two goals from a deep-lying midfield role.
Meanwhile, the two finalists, Ivory Coast and Nigeria, each have three players in the selection, namely Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong and Ademola Lookman for the Super Eagles, and Ghislan Konan, Jean Michael Seri and Franck Kessie for the Elephants.
DR Congo, who had to settle for a fourth-place finish at the tournament after losing to Bafana in the third-place playoff, have two inclusions in the XI, namely their captain Chancel Mbemba and Brentford star Yoane Wissa.
