Wydad Athletic Club president Hicham Ait Menna has reportedly responded to rumours that head coach Rulani Mokwena and his assistants have not received their salaries for several months.
The president's response follows a shocking report from SABC Sport stating that Mokwena, his technical director Allan Freese, assistant coach Sinethemba Badela, and goalkeeper trainer Sean Louw have not been paid for eight months.
Mokwena joined the Red Castle after his unexpected exit from Betway Premiership giants Mamelodi Sundowns in July last year. He brought his South African colleagues along to support him.

Nevertheless, things have been tense for the 38-year-old tactician, with results not meeting the expectations of Wydad management and the club's supporters, putting his future with the club in jeopardy.
The situation deteriorated further for the outspoken mentor following his team's exit from the Moroccan Throne Cup recently, with Wydad board members reportedly becoming fed up and pushing for his dismissal.
Still, SABC Sport claimed that Mokwena has been working without any payment, while also using his personal equipment for practice sessions.

Upon hearing about the public broadcaster's report, Ait Menna has reportedly come forward to deny the allegations. As per Al3omk.Com, the president stated: "Everything being circulated in this regard is a rumour. "
The Botola Pro League side has yet to issue an official statement regarding these developments. Furthermore, it is reported that Mokwena will continue to lead his team until the end of the season.
