Wydad Athletic Club head coach Rulani Mokwena has spoken highly of Al Ahly, expressing his admiration for the Egyptian powerhouse.
Ahly, referred to by many as the "Club of the Century" have been dominating African football for years, even with other clubs challenging them.
The Red Devils hold an impressive record on the continent, having claimed the CAF Champions League title a record 12 times, with TP Mazembe and Zamalek trailing behind with five each.

Despite efforts from teams like Esperance de Tunis, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Mokwena's Wydad, to metion a few, to halt their supremacy, Ahly continues to demonstrate their prowess against any opponent.
Ahly, who have also been the dominant force in the Egyptian Premier League, are currently in the Champions League semi-finals, where they will face Sundowns in the second leg following a goalless draw in the first leg.
Mokwena, who is expected to depart Wydad at the end of the Botola Pro League next month, has praised Ahly, stating all African teams should be inspired by them.
"I'd rather say it's a feeling of respect and admiration for what the club has achieved," Mowena told Tuttosport, per Twaslnews.
"Al Ahly's success is impressive, there's no doubt about that.

Al Ahly, along with Wydad, Esperance, and Sundowns, will represent Africa at the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup tournament in America
