Gambia 0-2 Ivory Coast
Ivory Coast made it two wins from two games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a 2-0 win over Gambia on Monday.
Having crushed Seychelles 9-0 on Friday, the Elephants looked for another dominant performance and featured the likes of Franck Kessie, Christian Kouame, Serge Aurier and Seko Fofana.
Gambia were behind in the final minute of the first half as Kouame made the opening before Fofana made the points safe in the closing five minutes.
Seychelles 0-5 Kenya
Kenya heaped more misery on the Seychelles and claimed a comprehensive 5-0 victory in Group F's other encounter.
It's the Harambee Star's first win in the group, as a quick double in the first half from Michael Olunga and efforts from Masoud Juma, Robert Onyango, Benson Omala got them over the line.
As for the woeful Seychelles, it's another heavy defeat days after their 9-0 drubbing at the hands of Ivory Coast in the group opener.
Djibouti 0-1 Guinea-Bissau
Ten-man Guinea-Bissau picked up a 1-0 win over Djibouti and got their campaign in Group A firmly off the mark.
Djibouti, who were hammered 6-0 by Egypt in the group opener, were up against it once again as Mauro Rodrigues got the winner in the first half.
It didn't well for the visiting nation after a coming-together pertaining Houboulang Mendes who got his marching orders with eight minutes to go as the match ended 1-0 to Guinea.
Liberia 0-1 Equatorial Guinea
Liberia remained without a win in Group H after a second straight loss at the hands of Equatorial Guinea on Monday.
Emilio Nsue got the winner as early as the ninth minute, whilst the host had Nohan Kenneh dismissed on the stroke of halftime.
With the win, the Equatorial Guinea known as the National Thunder moved to the top of the group through a perfect start following two wins from their opening two matches.
Chad 0-3 Madagascar
Madagascar secured their first win in the qualifiers for the World Cup finals after putting Chad to the sword with a 3-0 pasting in Group I.
Goals in either half from Njiva Rakotoharimalala and one at the death from Loic Lapoussin were enough to help the Islanders get off the mark in the group.
Mali 1-1 Central African Republic
Mali were unable to register back-to-back wins and have a perfect start at the top of Group I as the Central African Republic forced a 1-1 draw.
It was tight right throughout before a late show saw Kamory Doumbia put the host ahead only for Geoffrey Kondogbia to cancel it out and earned the visitors their first point.
