Rulani 'holds' meeting with Wydad players

Wydad Athletic Club head coach Rulani Mokwena has reportedly convened a meeting with his players amidst his side's unconvincing and inconsistent performances in the Botola Premier League.

Mokwena has faced considerable pressure recently, with his future at the club uncertain following a recent drop in the team's results, highlighted by a series of draws, the most recent being against Ittihad Tangier.

The Red Castle presently holds the fourth position in the Botola Pro League table, having accumulated 43 points with just five matches remaining before the season ends.

Wydad's disappointing spell of form has resulted in them losing points during a crucial phase of the campaign as they fight for second place, which could enable them to qualify for next season's CAF Champions League edition.

Amidst the club's lacklustre performances, Mokwena has reportedly held a meeting with his players to explore ways they can collectively improve their fortunes and secure the second position in the standings.
