Zimbabwe head coach Michael Nees has admitted he is keeping tabs on a South African-born Kaizer Chiefs star who is eligible to represent the Warriors.
The Zim national team has been in action in 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in recent days, beating Namibia 1-0 on Thursday before playing them again on Monday and picking up another three points with a 3-1 victory.

They are currently second in Group J, two points behind leaders Cameroon and one ahead of Kenya.
With club football set to return this coming weekend, the Warriors will be looking to remain focused on securing a place at the next AFCON, set to be hosted by Morocco next year.
Nees will have a wealth of players to choose from to succeed in that mission, and could call up even more, including those who were not born in the country.
One such player is Chiefs star Ranga Chivaviro, who is eligible to represent Zimbabwe through his father.
The 31-year-old, who is yet to earn a Bafana Bafana call-up, has previously expressed an interest in representing the Warriors.
Speaking after the encounter against Namibia on Monday, Nees addressed the possibility of the former Marumo Gallants forward being called upon.
"We have a long list of players, and we are interested in every good player," he said, per Zimbabwean news site Soccer24.
"But we also have good players here. We're monitoring everybody and when the time is right, we will decide whether to approach him or not.
"It's not just that someone is playing at Kaizer Chiefs.
"We observe every player but we should also praise those we already have.
"We have a very long list, and it's not a matter of bringing in anyone but we should add value."
