Bayern name 'asking price' for Real Madrid target

Bayern Munich have reportedly named their asking for Alphonso Davies, who is said to be a target for Real Madrid.

Los Blancos have been heavily linked with a move for the Canada international over the last few months, as they look to bolster the full-back department.

Some reports suggest that Davies already has a verbal agreement with the Spanish club, although Bayern are still keen on renewing his contract.

Should Alaba ended going to the Santiago Bernabeu, Marca have reported that the Bavarians have set an asking price of €70million for the full-back's services.

Los Blancos currently have most of the leverage as Davies' contract is expires next year, which could Bayern could be forced to sell the player at the end of the season or risk losing him on a free transfer next year.

Meanwhile, new Bayern sporting director Max Eberl hinted this week that the club might be forced to sell the Canadian full-back.

"No club wants to lose players for free… of course," Eberl said, as per Goal.

"We already had discussions with his agent, so I will now try to continue the conversation. I have to see how the situation is."
