Bayern Munich's Bundesliga title charge suffered another blow following a 2-2 draw with SC Freiburg on Friday evening.
With all to play for, Bayern were without Matthijs De Ligt due to suspension and the injured Leroy Sane, as Kim-Min Jae and Mathys Tel came in as their replacements.
Freiburg had the lead on 12 minutes as Rolland Sallai's overhead kick onto the woodwork led to a switch of play where Christian Gunter retrieved to volley into the bottom-corner.
The Bavarians maintained calm heads all-round and were rewarded where Tel pulled a high ball from the edge of the area in his stride and curled fantastically into the far corner.
More activity on the goal of the host arrived eight minutes before halftime after Leon Goretzka's low rasping shot had Freiburg goalkeepeer Noah Atubolu in a spot of bother.
Atubolu was in again on the stroke of the break when he pulled down to the near side of his area to thwart Harry Kane profiting with a header following a free-kick.
Kane got a good opener a little inside the resumption when he collected Tel's low pass to lean towards the area before going wide across the face of goal.
Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel made a double substitution during the midway period of the second stanza, where Konrad Laimer replaced Joshua Kimmich and Raphael Guerreiro stepped out for Alphonso Davies.
Kane again went close in the last 20 minutes through a first-time header from a corner-kick, but he saw it cleared off the line.
Bayern did go ahead though as Jamal Musiala's intricate passage of play saw him beat a host of challenges to finish from the narrowest of angles.
However, Freiburg were level in the last four minutes after a long-throw followed by a knockdown in the area allowed Lucas Holer to apply a first-time volley.
The clash ended all square which came a blow to the Bavarians' title aspirations where they fell further behind the leaders Bayer Leverkusen, who can go ten points clear with a win on Sunday.
