Bayern Munich took a giant step towards capturing the Bundesliga title with victory over Hannover, while Wolfsburg kept their European hopes alive by seeing off Nurnberg. Robert Lewandowski and Leon Goretzka gave the Bavarians a 2-0 lead going to the break while Jonathas pulled a goal back for the visitors six minutes into the second stanza. Three minutes later Jonathas received his second yellow card ten minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute for a trailing arm that caught Joshua Kimmich in the face. The Bavarians gained an advantage of playing with an extra player and Franck Ribery sealed the three points with the third goal seven minutes before time. Borussia Monchengladbach 2-2 Hoffenheim Borussia Monchengladbach and Hoffenheim played to thrilling 2-2 stalemate in a tussle for European places on Saturday afternoon. Pavel Kaderabek broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 33rd minute and it was only in the 72nd minute when Gladbach found the equaliser through Matthias Ginter. Nadiem Amiri thought he had found the winner for Hoffenheim with 11 minutes remaining but Josip Drmic levelled matters for the hosts six minutes before time. Hertha Berlin 3-1 Stuttgart Hertha Berlin dented Stuttgart's chances of escaping the relegation play-off spot with a 3-1 victory on Saturday afternoon. Vedad Ibisevic broke the deadlock for Hertha five minutes before the break and Ondrej Duda doubled their in first half stoppages. Salomon Kalou made it 3-0 for the hosts in the 67th minute to guarantee them the three points while Mario Gomez scored the consolation goal for the visitors with 20 minutes remaining. Wolfsburg 2-0 Nurnberg Wolfsburg damaged Nurnberg's chances of surviving relegation and kept themselves in the hunt for a European place with a 2-0 victory on Saturday afternoon. Felix Klaus and Marcel Tisserand scored on either half for the hosts to keep them in sixth place while Stuttgart are six points from safety lying in the relegation play-off place.
