OFFICIAL: Man City crowned 23/24 EPL champions

Manchester City have clinched the 2023/2024 Premier League after defeating West Ham United on the final day of the season.

The Citizens only needed two minutes to get the breakthrough as Phil Foden did well to lose his marker before rifling one into the top corner from the edge of the box.

Foden was named Player of the Season on Saturday and he showed why after doubling the advantage on 18 minutes with a neat first-time finish from Jeremy Doku's cross.

The Hammers did pull a goal back three minutes before the break as Mohammed Kudus found the back of the net with a sensational overhead kick.

The home side, however, settled the nerves in the second half when Rodri bagged the third goal in the 59th minute with a composed finish from just outside the box.

The Citizens were able to see out the closing stages with relative ease to see out the win and claim a record fourth successive league title.

Arsenal 2-1 Everton

Arsenal ended the season in second place following a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Everton at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners were without the services of talisman Bukayo Saka who was dealing with an injury, as Gabriel Martinelli was recalled to the attack.

It was the visitors who looked more livelier in the first half and they went close to breaking the deadlock on 32 minutes when Dominic Calvert-Lewin hit the upright from the edge of the box.

The Toffees would go on to take the lead on 39 minutes when Idrissa Gueye's free-kick sailed into the top corner.

Mikel Arteta's charges equalised a few minutes later when Martin Odegaard pulled the ball back for Takehiro Tomiyasu, who sent a lovely finish past Jordan Pickford.

Kai Havertz completed the turnaround in the final two minutes with his close-range finish, as the North London outfit settled for a silver medal.
