The Championship winners are currently without a manager after Enzo Maresca left this week to join fellow Premier League side Chelsea.

Solskjaer was linked with the Foxes job before the start of the current season, but was edged out by Maresca who guided the side to automatic promotion.

The report claims that the United legend had turned down various offers - both club and internationally-, but is keen on returning to the game.

The former Red Devils coach recently claimed that he is aiming to get another job in club football in the near future.

"I've got at least one club job in me," Solskjaer said, as per Hindustan Times.

"It has to be an interesting one, somewhere, an adventure, somewhere, I can be myself. No disrespect, but after you've managed Manchester United for three years, it's like, where do you go?

"Yeah, of course, I want to feel that pressure again. You know, when you see the games, you miss it."
