FC Barcelona suffered their first defeat in LALIGA after going down 4-2 defeat to Osasuna on Saturday evening.
Pedri, Pau Victor, Gerard Martin, Sergi Dominguez and Ferran Torres came in as the five changes made by Barca from the win over Getafe, with Ingio Martinez, Marc Casado, Alejandro Balde, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha sacrificed.
Croatian Ante Budimir seized initiative for the host in the opening quarter when he charged in the centre of the six-yard box to head in a Bryan Zaragoza cross.
Zaragoza reversed the roles a moment to the half-hour mark after he latched to a precise through pass from Pablo Ibanez and rounded Inigo Pena for a simple finish.
The momentum continued to shine heavily on the home team where a surging run by Budimir from a clever delivery inside the box pushed Barca to live nervously.
With the league leaders on the edge and having not made the desired start, Osasuna proved difficult to breach particularly at the back though the Blaugrana remained resilient.
This worked well eight minutes from the break when Victor took big advantage of a mis-placed ball at the back and tucked in to reduce the tally.
Barcelona put in fresh set of legs off the substitutes bench a little later with Raphinha on for Pablo Torre before exciting youngster Lamine Yamal set in for Pau Victor.
However, the home team regained control with Budimir managing to win a foul of Dominguez to get a penalty which he ended up firing in to leave the visitors utterly shocked.
More trouble set in as in the final five minutes substitute Abdel Bretones took aim from outside the area and fired in the roof of the net.
Yamal pulled a second for the Blaugrana a minute to the end when he received first-time pass from Torres and shaved a shot to curl in the top corner.
Barca weren't able to sprung a late comeback thereafter and saw the home team marched to a dominant victory.
