Vinicius Junior grabbed the headlines by securing a hat-trick as Real Madrid thrashed Osasuna 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday afternoon.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti made three changes from Los Blancos' loss to AC Milan in midweek, as Eduardo Camavinga, Rodrygo and Fran Garcia came in for Luka Modric, Aurelien Tchouameni and Ferland Mendy.
The hosts had to wait until the 15th minute to register an effort at goal, with Rodrygo unleashes a strike from distance that forced goalkeeper Sergio Herrera into a fine save.
That proved to be Rodrygo's final involvement as he was forced off with an injury, but the hosts were hit with another blow after 28 minutes as Eder Militao was stretchered off with an apparent knee injury.
Brhim Diaz was brought on to replace Rodryo, while Ancelotti handed a first-team debut to Raul Asencio who replaced Militao after 28 minutes.
Despite the injury trouble, the hosts broke the deadlock in the 34th minute when Vinicius Junior managed to carve out some space in the box and fired one into the near post for his sixth league goal of the campaign.
The young Asencio made his mark just before the halftime break when he picked out the run of Bellingham with long pass, with the latter calmly slotting into the top corner to get his first goal of the campaign.
The third goal arrived in 61st minute as Vinicius latched onto goalkeeper Andry Lunin's long pass and showed great composure to round Herrera and slot into an empty net to complete his brace.
The day belonged to Brazilian winger, who did get his third and Real's fourth on 70 minutes with a close-range finish after good by Diaz, who won the ball from an Osasuna defender in the box.
