Despite their financial issues, FC Barcelona are reportedly ready to place a bid for a Portugal midfielder who impressed at the 2020 UEFA European Championship.
According to Le 10 Sport, the Catalan giants are ready to pounce on Lille's financial troubles to make an offer for A Selecao star Renato Sanches.

The 23-year-old is reportedly valued at £27 million (R542 million) following an excellent 2020/21 campaign with the French club, during which they won the Ligue 1 title, and his impressive performances in midfield for Portugal at Euro 2020.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta is said to believe that the midfielder will not be available again for such a low fee.
Many reports have suggested that the La Liga outfit is looking to get Miralem Pjanic off their wage bill after confirming the departure of midfielder Carles Alena to Getafe on Saturday.
Highly regarded La Masia talent Ilaix Moriba has also reportedly rejected a contract extension with the club, according to Marca.
This potentially leaves the Blaugrana with little squad depth in midfield, and former Bayern Munich star Sanches is seemingly considered a long-term solution.
How Barca aim to fund this transfer remains unknown, though, especially with reports claiming that the Spanish club is in massive debt and cannot register any of their new signings until €200 million (R3.3 billion) is raised in sales or removed from the wage bill.
