Having missed nearly three weeks of action as a result of contracting the coronavirus, Ronaldo returned to the pitch on Sunday and marked the occasion with a brace from the bench as Juventus recorded a 4-1 win over Spezia.
After the match, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner confirmed that he was asymptomatic throughout his period in quarantine, and that he was delighted to finally be able to play football again after missing Juve's past four matches.
"I have been stationary. I had no symptoms and I felt good. Today I went back to doing what I like: playing football," Ronaldo told Sky Sports.
"Serie A is a competitive league. [AC] Milan are doing a great job, as well as Lazio and Napoli. We have to work hard, but we are growing. Cristiano is back, and this is the most important thing."
Ronaldo is expected to be in action again on Wednesday, when the Bianconeri travel to Hungary for their UEFA Champions League Group G clash against Ferencvarosi.
